We are currently looking for a Master Data Specialist with an immediate start for our client in Gothenburg at StudentConsulting. The company has over 100 years of experience in the production and delivery of building materials such as tiles, paving stones, walls, blocks, and concrete and natural stone VA systems. They have been involved in many different projects, both larger public buildings and smaller private constructions, contributing with materials and technical expertise across the country.

As a Master Data Specialist, you will be a central part of the company's product and process flows, where you will be responsible for the item register and several important item systems. Here, you will ensure and enrich data so that the information is correct and reaches throughout the organization.

In this role, you will have close contact with many different parts of the company. You will collaborate with production to ensure that items are set up correctly and function smoothly. Together with the segments organization, decisions will be made regarding which products should be launched or removed from the assortment, while contact with the sales team and retailers ensures that correct product information reaches the customer. You will also be involved in the management group for the business system and drive improvement projects together with internal process owners.

Your tasks will also include:

• Supporting production in setting up items and ensuring that the information works correctly in the system
• Participating in processes related to launches and assortment changes together with the segments organization
• Contributing to improvement projects and management of the business system as part of the management group
• Being involved in developing processes for higher data quality throughout the organization
• Acting as the spider in the web with contact with sales, production, and other internal functions

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will be employed by us at StudentConsulting and work as a consultant for our client located in Hjällbo, Gothenburg. The position is planned to start immediately and is full-time with work scheduled during office hours.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as economics, logistics, or IT
• Experience working with business systems, databases, or product data management
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious is:

• Previous experience working in Master Data or similar roles
• Experience from production environments and understanding of production processes
• Knowledge of the business system Jeeves
• Experience with the item register Finfo
